Event Schedule for the End of the Year

perchancetodreammodsHey all! I know I already made a news update today, but I had one more quick thing I wanted to touch on now that the November calendar has been updated.
With the holidays coming up, I had to give some thought to how to make sure we weren't battling with the holidays too much over the next few months. Because the first and third Wednesdays of the month happen pretty early on this month, it won't be hard to keep on schedule this month with no conflict for Thanksgiving for our US-based folks, but it leaves a 3 week gap at the end of the month between November's TDM and December's event. Additionally, the third Wednesday of December is right before Christmas and falls squarely on Yule, an important holiday for my own family.
TL;DR it's a very festive train wreck.
So! Here is how November and December will work.
November will follow the normal "first and third Wednesday of the month" schedule, PLUS December's event will launch November 30th. That means that December's event will be available to enjoy during the first week of the month.
December's TDM, The Seasonal Split, will occur on Dec. 14th.
At some point in mid to late December, I will create a sign-up post for a miniature "Secret Friend" gift exchange event. Sign your characters up, get assigned a random other participant, and come up with a gift to give them, and do a simple RP with the recipient! It's quick and easy so if you're busy it doesn't take much brain power, and it's a great way for characters to connect with each other and possibly make a new friend due to the random nature of it.
Then, in January, we'll get back on track with our normal schedule!
